About the role#
Martin/Martin, Inc. is hiring summer interns for the Structural Engineering Group in Atlanta. This role focuses on new building structural design. You will also gain experience in technical research, building renovations, and Building Information Modeling (BIM).
What you'll do#
- Complete simple engineering calculations and models.
- Prepare presentations for the team.
- Perform research and special studies.
- Handle data entry tasks.
- Support internal technical projects.
- Develop drawings and visit project sites.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering.
- Completed at least a junior-level program.
- High school diploma.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and ask questions.
- Attention to detail.
Location & details#
- Location: Atlanta, GA (Dunwoody office).
- Work modality: On-site.
- Employment: Full-time, paid internship.
- This position requires the ability to remain stationary for long periods, use a mouse or keyboard, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
- You must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
