About the role#
Martin/Martin, Inc offers a three-day externship program designed to show college students the daily life of structural engineers. This program runs from May 10 to May 12, 2027, between 10 AM and 2 PM each day. Participants will review current projects, work on engineering tasks with peers, and learn industry software. Lunch is provided during the program. This is an unpaid externship. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis through February 2027.
What you'll do#
- Complete simple engineering calculations and models.
- Perform 3D modeling tasks.
- Prepare presentations.
- Assist with site assessments.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
- Ability to commute to and attend programming in Atlanta, GA.
- Must be eligible to work for any employer in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.
- Ability to perform technical work in an office setting, including reading and documenting in English.
- Ability to remain stationary for long periods and occasionally move objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
