About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Branson, Missouri. You will gain hands-on experience working on-site at Marriott's Willow Ridge Lodge. The program includes mentorship from property leaders, sessions with senior executives, and opportunities to shadow different departments. You will also collaborate on a project and connect with other interns through a dedicated platform.
What you'll do#
You will rotate through three primary areas of resort operations:
- Food & Beverage: Rotate through food outlets, learning roles such as server, cook, expeditor, and bar staff. You will also learn inventory control, ordering, and responsible alcohol service.
- Front Office: Assist guests during check-in and check-out using brand-standard welcoming techniques. You will handle daily tasks, solve problems, and learn the differences between ownership and nightly reservations.
- Recreation & Activities: Promote resort facilities and lead programming like trivia, pool games, and educational events. You will help plan daily activities and assist with special event setup.
What you'll need#
- You must be actively pursuing a college degree in Business Administration or another field.
- You must be available for a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- You are comfortable with physical tasks such as bending, twisting, and standing or walking for extended periods.
- You can lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds without assistance.
- A valid driver’s license may be required for this role.
