About the role#
The Technical Writer Co-op is responsible for creating and maintaining documentation for Magnet Forensics software products. This role supports the development of materials targeted toward a forensic investigator audience and involves close collaboration with various internal departments.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the Product Documentation and Technical Support teams to build knowledge base articles for both external and internal audiences.
- Perform peer edits and proofreading to ensure documentation and customer-facing communications adhere to the Magnet Forensics Style Guide, maintaining clear, concise, and correct language.
- Assist in building out team resources, including the development of wiki pages.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Literature & Rhetoric, or Rhetoric, Media, and Professional Communication.
- A basic understanding of topic-based writing (DITA).
- Excellent written communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- An interest in working in a collaborative environment.
