Magnet Forensics is seeking a Software Developer Engineer in Test (SDET) Co-op for the Fall 2026 term. This role focuses on supporting the development and deployment of AI-powered, cloud-based products. You will work alongside developers and product managers to design and implement robust, scalable test solutions that ensure the reliability and performance of our cloud platforms.
What you'll do#
- Define and maintain an automation roadmap aligned with team goals and product evolution.
- Act as a subject matter expert in test strategy and tooling within your domain.
- Design and manage automated testing suites, including CI/CD pipeline development.
- Validate deployments across multiple cloud environments.
- Collaborate with the development team to improve overall product quality.
What you'll need#
- Experience in Software Development in Test with a strong focus on cloud automation.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, C#, or Java.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, SDKs, and system integration testing.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based testing environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
