About the role#
Magna International is hiring a Sales Intern to support the North American sales organization. This is a full-time, paid internship based in Southfield, Michigan. You will work on-site and assist the team with daily operations, customer relations, and internal database management.
What you'll do#
- Assist the sales team with daily tasks and cross-functional project support.
- Complete customer surveys and manage supplier portals.
- Track customer recovery and income related to tariffs, inflation, and expedites.
- Quote engineering changes and new business while gaining experience in customer negotiations.
- Maintain internal databases including GSD and IronClad.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma.
- Current enrollment in a college or university program.
- Preference for students pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
