About the role#
This 10-week summer internship in the Audit Division offers professional development and direct exposure to bank operations. Interns work on projects and department initiatives while building a network with peers and industry leaders. This role provides priority consideration for future full-time opportunities at the bank. The position is based in Wilmington, Delaware, and requires an on-site presence.
What you'll do#
- Perform entry-level professional duties within the Audit Division.
- Ensure all activities follow established internal policies and external regulations.
- Follow company risk and regulatory standards.
- Identify and escalate risk-related issues to management.
- Design, implement, and maintain internal controls to mitigate risk.
- Support an environment that reflects the bank brand and promotes belonging.
- Maintain internal control standards, including addressing audit points and regulatory issues.
- Complete other related tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven analytical, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated computer skills.
- High attention to detail.
