About the role#
LSS Summit Oaks is looking for an intern to support youth ages 10 to 17. This role is for students currently enrolled in a college program who need to complete an internship. You will work with teens facing various mental health, behavioral, substance abuse, or legal challenges. The position offers both full-time and part-time options with typical hours between 1pm and 11pm, including weekends and holidays.
What you'll do#
- Provide residential care to youth.
- Work with an interdisciplinary team to support client needs.
- Conduct group sessions.
- Supervise youth during activities in the community.
- Act as a positive role model to maintain a healthy environment.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current enrollment in a college program that requires an internship.
- Minimum age of 21.
- Valid driver license or the ability to obtain one with approved driver status.
- Active auto insurance.
- Ability to complete agency orientation training.
- Successful completion of all agency background checks, including criminal, drug, and sex crime screenings.

- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour.
