About the role#
Lumen is hiring for a 10-week paid summer internship program for Summer 2027. This program offers students the chance to work on technology solutions that support real business priorities. What you'll do#
- Design, build, test, or enhance software applications, AI-enabled tools, and technology solutions.
- Develop automated workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Work with cloud platforms, APIs, data integrations, development environments, and monitoring tools.
- Evaluate technical requirements and troubleshoot issues to improve the performance and reliability of solutions.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to translate problems into scalable technology solutions.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment at an accredited college or university.
- Academic focus in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or related technical fields.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical-thinking skills.
- Curiosity about how technology works and a desire to build, test, and improve solutions.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and handle complex technical challenges.
