About the role#
Lower is seeking a Videographer & Content Editor Intern to produce engaging video content for our marketing initiatives and social media channels. You will work closely with our marketing team and leadership to capture and edit content that highlights our brand, employees, and mission. This position is ideal for a student or early-career creative looking to build a professional portfolio through hands-on experience in a fintech environment.
What you'll do#
- Film high-quality video content featuring Lower leadership and employees for marketing campaigns.
- Edit long-form content for YouTube, podcasts, interviews, testimonials, and promotional videos.
- Create engaging short-form content optimized for social platforms.
- Assist with pre-production planning, including brainstorming concepts and content calendars.
- Capture behind-the-scenes footage at company events and other marketing initiatives.
- Incorporate graphics, captions, music, and branding to produce polished, platform-ready content.
- Utilize AI-powered tools to improve editing speed and workflow efficiency.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to refine content quality and performance.
What you'll need#
- Experience shooting and editing video content through coursework, internships, freelance work, or personal projects.
- Proficiency with cameras, production, and basic lighting and audio equipment.
- Experience with professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted editing platforms such as Descript, Opus Clip, Adobe Firefly, Runway, or similar technologies.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Pursuing or holding a degree in Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, or Graphic Design.
