About the role#
Lower is looking for a creative Videographer and Content Editor Intern to help tell our story. You will work closely with our marketing team and executive leadership to produce video content that supports our mission. This internship offers hands-on experience in a professional environment, allowing you to build your portfolio while contributing to our social media presence and marketing campaigns.
What you'll do#
- Film high-quality video content featuring company leadership and employees for marketing campaigns and social media.
- Edit long-form content, including podcasts, interviews, testimonials, and YouTube videos.
- Create short-form content optimized for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and LinkedIn.
- Assist with pre-production tasks such as brainstorming concepts, creating shot lists, and managing content calendars.
- Capture behind-the-scenes footage at company events and office activities.
- Incorporate motion elements, captions, music, and branding into your edits.
- Use AI-powered tools to streamline editing workflows and improve content production.
What you'll need#
- Experience shooting and editing video through coursework, internships, freelance work, or personal projects.
- Proficiency with cameras and production gear, including basic lighting and audio equipment.
- Experience with professional editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted editing platforms such as Descript, Opus Clip, Adobe Firefly, or Runway.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to meet deadlines and communicate effectively with team members.
- Pursuing or holding a degree in Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, or Graphic Design.
