About the role#
This 11-week internship provides hands-on experience in managing high-volume travel centers. You will work alongside store leaders to learn facility operations, team management, and customer service. The program focuses on real-world application of skills and leadership development in a retail environment.
What you'll do#
- Participate in training across store, fuel, food, and truck care operations.
- Learn to drive sales, manage costs, and support store profitability.
- Assist with merchandising, inventory management, and maintaining operational standards.
- Gain experience in team leadership, staffing, and employee development.
- Deliver customer service and resolve issues.
- Collaborate on a cross-functional project with other interns and company leaders.
- Help enforce safety, compliance, and company policies.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year degree program.
- Pursuing a degree in business, marketing, operations management, management, hospitality, or a related field.
- Ability to navigate computer programs and technology tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
