About the role#
This 11-week internship provides hands-on experience managing travel centers. You will work alongside leaders to learn facility operations, team management, and customer service. The program is designed to help you build skills in a retail setting.
What you'll do#
- Train across store, fuel, food, and truck care operations.
- Learn to drive sales, manage costs, and support store profitability.
- Practice team leadership, staffing, and employee development.
- Deliver customer service and resolve issues as they arise.
- Assist with merchandising, inventory management, and operational standards.
- Help enforce safety, compliance, and company policies.
- Collaborate on a cross-functional project with other interns and company leaders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 2- or 4-year degree program in business, management, hospitality, or a related field.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Comfort interacting with customers and team members.
- Ability to navigate computer programs and technology tools.
- Physical ability to move around, talk, hear, and lift up to 50 pounds.
