About the role#
This 11-week internship provides hands-on experience in managing travel centers, including food service and truck care operations. You will work alongside experienced leaders to learn how to manage a facility, lead teams, and provide customer service. The program focuses on real-world application of skills to help you prepare for a career in retail management.
What you'll do#
- Participate in training across store, fuel, food, and truck care operations.
- Develop business acumen by learning how to drive sales and manage costs.
- Learn team leadership, staffing, and employee development practices.
- Deliver customer service and resolve issues as they arise.
- Assist with merchandising, inventory management, and operational standards.
- Collaborate on projects with other interns and leaders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 2- or 4-year degree program.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Ability to navigate computer programs and systems.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
