About the role#
This 11-week internship provides hands-on experience in managing travel center operations. You will work alongside leaders to learn how to manage store, fuel, food, and truck care departments. The program focuses on building business skills and team leadership while you help travelers and professional drivers.
What you'll do#
- Train across store, fuel, food, and truck care operations.
- Learn to drive sales, manage costs, and support store profitability.
- Assist with merchandising, inventory management, and operational standards.
- Develop skills in team leadership, staffing, and employee development.
- Deliver customer service and handle issue resolution.
- Collaborate on a project with other interns and company leaders.
- Help enforce safety, compliance, and company policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 2- or 4-year degree program in business, management, hospitality, or a related field.
- Ability to interact with customers and team members.
- Willingness to learn by doing in a customer-focused environment.
- Ability to navigate computer programs and technology tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move around the facility.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

- Location: Edon, Ohio.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday.
- This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship.
