About the role#
This 11-week internship provides hands-on experience in managing high-volume travel centers. You will work alongside store leaders to learn about food service, fuel, and truck care operations. The program focuses on operational standards, team management, and customer service. You will also collaborate on a cross-functional project with other interns and company leaders.
What you'll do#
- Participate in training across store, fuel, food, and truck care operations.
- Develop business skills by learning how to drive sales, manage costs, and support profitability.
- Learn team leadership, staffing, and employee development practices.
- Gain experience delivering customer service and resolving issues.
- Assist with merchandising, inventory management, and operational standards.
- Help enforce safety, compliance, and company policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 2- or 4-year degree program in business, marketing, operations management, human resources, hospitality, or a related field.
- Ability to interact with customers and team members.
- Willingness to learn by doing in a customer-focused environment.
- Ability to navigate computer programs and technology tools.
- Ability to talk, hear, move around, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
