About the role#
This 11-week internship provides hands-on experience in managing travel centers, including food service and truck care operations. You will work alongside experienced leaders to learn about facility management, team leadership, and customer service. The program is designed to help you build a foundation for a career in retail management.
What you'll do#
- Participate in training across store, fuel, food, and truck care departments.
- Learn to drive sales, manage costs, and support store profitability.
- Gain experience in team leadership, staffing, and employee development.
- Assist with inventory management, merchandising, and operational standards.
- Deliver customer service and resolve issues as they arise.
- Help enforce safety, compliance, and company policies.
- Collaborate on a cross-functional project with other interns and leaders.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a 2- or 4-year degree program in business, management, hospitality, or a related field.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Comfort interacting with customers and team members.
- Willingness to learn through hands-on work in a customer-focused environment.
- Ability to use various computer programs and technology tools.
- Physical ability to move around, talk, hear, and lift up to 50 pounds.

- Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday.
