About the role#
This 11-week internship provides hands-on experience in managing high-volume travel centers. You will work alongside store leaders to learn about facility operations, team management, and customer service. The program is designed to help you gain skills in areas like food service and truck care while supporting professional drivers and travelers.
What you'll do#
- Train across store, fuel, food, and truck care operations.
- Learn to drive sales, manage costs, and support profitability.
- Practice team leadership, staffing, and employee development.
- Deliver customer service and resolve issues as they arise.
- Assist with merchandising, inventory management, and operational standards.
- Help enforce safety, compliance, and company policies.
- Collaborate on a cross-functional project with other interns and company leaders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 2- or 4-year degree program.
- Pursuing a degree in business, management, hospitality, or a related field.
- Ability to navigate computer programs, systems, and technology tools.
- Ability to talk, hear, move around, see clearly, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
