About the role#
Long Island Speech is hiring part-time paid interns for our Stony Brook office. You will gain hands-on experience in a professional healthcare setting by working across multiple departments. This role offers exposure to the daily operations of a busy speech therapy practice.
What you'll do#
- Assist with daily office operations such as filing, scanning, copying, and mail distribution.
- Support the marketing team with promotional materials and research for events.
- Help the billing department with data entry and medical postings.
- Provide general administrative support to various departments.
- Maintain an organized and efficient office environment for patients, families, and staff.
- Take on additional projects as assigned.
