About the role#
Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Software Engineer Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This position is based in Fort Worth, Texas, and operates on a hybrid schedule. You will work on software development and infrastructure tasks within a team environment.
What you'll do#
- Develop, integrate, support, and debug software.
- Troubleshoot and support CI/CD build pipelines.
- Support virtual development labs and aircraft software processes.
- Design and develop software to support automation infrastructure using open-source, commercial, and in-house tools.
- Attend and participate in daily scrums, sprint reviews, and technical demos.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelors degree program for Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Experience with C++ programming.
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software stability and integrity.
- US citizenship is required for this role due to facility access requirements.
