About the role#
Lockheed Martin is hiring a Software Developer Intern to join our Space department. You will work within a technical team to design, code, integrate, test, and deploy complex systems. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Boulder, Colorado.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to detailed system designs.
- Write code for new features and perform bug fixes.
- Conduct unit testing and automate these tests whenever possible.
- Participate in integration testing as required.
- Deliver complete products while focusing on system-level capabilities.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor of Science program for Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.
- Experience or strong interest in developing with C++, Python, and other programming languages.
- Ability to solve complex problems and work effectively within a team.
- Good communication skills.
