About the role#
As a Civil Engineering Intern in our Transportation group, you will gain hands-on experience by working alongside our team of professionals. This full-time, paid internship provides an opportunity to contribute to real-world projects while developing the technical and professional skills necessary to start your career. You will be integrated into our team to see how we solve problems and meet client needs daily.
What you'll do#
- Perform engineering assignments under the guidance of experienced engineers.
- Shadow actual operations to learn about different project phases.
- Complete assignments that support larger projects.
- Experience the day-to-day operations of an engineering firm.
- Learn about our various sectors and services.
- Participate in social engagement activities and team events.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least one year of college.
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- A strong work ethic and high motivation with a record of academic performance.
- A sincere desire to learn about the company and the engineering industry.
- Good organizational and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Focus and attention to detail, including the ability to identify discrepancies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on MS Excel.
