About the role#
As a Quality Engineering Intern, you will support the Quality Engineering team in Arvada, Colorado. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role that involves maintaining our Quality Management System and ensuring our products meet regulatory standards. You will work on projects related to ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR Part 11 requirements while collaborating across functional teams.
What you'll do#
- Build and maintain a material and substance database by reviewing supplier information and requesting additional data when necessary.
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate materials used in LivaNova products.
- Assist with general procedure updates to support process improvements and the maintenance of the Quality Management System.
- Support quality engineering activities throughout the design and manufacturing phases.
- Communicate issues to the Quality Engineering team and follow all relevant health and safety regulations.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
- You have completed your Junior year and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- You possess strong skills in statistical data analysis, flowcharts, and mathematical reasoning.
- You can analyze complex problems and communicate effectively with personnel at all levels.
- You are comfortable working in a clean room and lab environment, including tolerating chemical odors and the sight or smell of blood.
