About the role#
This is a paid, on-site student worker position for an Intramural Sports Official. The role involves managing intramural games, ensuring fair play, and interacting directly with participants.
What you'll do#
- Learn and apply all current rules and regulations for the specific intramural sport being played.
- Navigate game situations by making accurate calls and enforcing rules.
- Interact with participants to maintain a positive environment and ensure fair play.
What you'll need#
- General knowledge of and a passion for sports.
- Strong soft skills and the ability to navigate complex rule-based situations.
- Conflict resolution skills are preferred.
- Prior experience playing or officiating sports is considered a plus.
- This role is open to students across various majors, including Kinesiology, Health Administration, Real Estate, and Psychology.
