About the role#
This internship is a DoD SkillBridge opportunity designed for service members in their final 180 days of active duty. The program runs for 90 to 120 days and aims to prepare participants for a transition into a full time Warehouse Supervisor role. You will learn our processes, culture, and team structure while demonstrating your leadership skills. Please note that while we aim to hire successful interns, an offer of full time employment is not guaranteed.
What you'll do#
- Supervise and train direct reports, provide performance feedback, and assign daily duties to ensure efficient operations.
- Manage warehouse procedures, including incoming and outgoing shipments, merchandise organization, and inventory maintenance.
- Plan production schedules and allocate resources to meet job requirements while maintaining accurate time and production records.
- Track warehouse activities such as sales, purchasing, and record control to ensure product availability.
- Prepare and send performance reports to plant personnel.
- Work with material handling equipment and resolve employee issues as they arise.
What you'll need#
- Eligibility to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program per DODI 1322.29.
- Two years of leadership experience in warehouse or logistics environments.
- Practical experience using a Warehouse Management System.
- Strong conflict management skills.
- Ability to lift at least 40 lbs and work in environments ranging from -20 Fahrenheit in cold storage to 100 Fahrenheit in dry storage.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends if necessary, and comfort working in loud environments.

- This is an on-site, full time, paid internship.
- Locations include Albany, GA; Atlanta, GA; Lafayette, IN; Charleston, SC; and Gaston, SC.
- You will be provided with necessary personal protective equipment and freezer gear.
