About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in controls engineering at our automation facility in Bettendorf, Iowa. You will work alongside experienced engineers to gain practical skills in industrial automation. The program runs from May 25 to August 7, 2027, and includes an Immersion Day at our headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio.
What you'll do#
- Design PLC software and HMIs for industrial automation equipment.
- Debug and troubleshoot PLC software.
- Maintain task lists and reports for open items.
- Manage project design documentation and prepare customer deliverables.
- Ensure the controls engineering process is tracked and followed.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit or completion of a bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship.
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
- A genuine interest in working within a manufacturing environment.
