About the role#
The Business Development Internship at our Bettendorf facility connects your academic background with hands-on experience in project management and industrial machinery. You will work alongside our Business Development and Application Engineering teams to learn the lifecycle of a project, from initial quoting to final delivery. This program includes a required Immersion Day at our headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio, with all travel expenses covered by the company.
What you'll do#
- Assist the team in determining project solutions and quoting necessary equipment and services.
- Review bills of materials and project documents to estimate costs accurately.
- Participate in proposal presentations and follow up with customers.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and outside vendors.
- Help define project scope and objectives while ensuring technical feasibility.
- Assist in managing resource availability and allocation.
- Learn to manage project risks and track changes to scope or costs.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing or having achieved a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering, or a related technology field.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. on a full-time, permanent basis without sponsorship.
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational skills, including attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
