About the role#
Lifesteps offers college internships for students seeking academic credit. These positions provide hands-on work experience within a non-profit human services organization. Interns contribute to the agency by supporting departmental goals and completing specific tasks.
What you'll do#
- Assist staff in achieving departmental objectives.
- Complete assigned projects and tasks related to your field of study.
- Gain practical work experience in areas such as Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or Marketing.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at a college or university with at least 12 credits completed.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Valid driver license and auto insurance.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. with assistance.
- Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances, as well as a physical examination and TB test.

- Locations include Beaver, Butler, Eighty Four, Indiana, and Kittanning, Pennsylvania.
- Work is on-site.
- This is an unpaid internship for academic credit.
- The term is rolling.
