About the role#
Liberty University is hiring a CAS Residential Math Student Worker to support the math department. This part-time position involves assisting faculty and staff with daily operations, including classroom and lab support.
What you'll do#
- Assist math department personnel with classes, labs, and office tasks.
- Set up and clear physics labs.
- Provide general support to professors.
- Work as a team member while following university policies.
What you'll need#
- Recommendation from a course instructor, department chairman, or associate chairman.
- A 3.0 GPA or higher.
- High competence in the relevant course content.
- Strong organizational, computer, and scheduling skills.
- Ability to reason, analyze information, and apply judgment.
- Proficiency in English, including verbal and written communication.
Location & details#
- This role is located on-site in Lynchburg, Virginia.
- The position is part-time with rolling availability.
- Compensation starts at $12.77 per hour.
