About the role#
Lewis Brisbois is seeking a litigation associate to join the office in Rye Brook, New York. This is a full-time, hybrid position focused on defending condo and coop boards.
What you'll do#
You will manage all phases of litigation. Your daily work includes drafting and reviewing pleadings, conducting legal research, and performing analysis. You will also handle motion practice and provide oral advocacy.
What you'll need#
- 1 to 7 years of experience defending condo and coop boards
- Experience with inter-building disputes involving property damage
- Experience with allegations regarding breaches of building governance and fiduciary duty
- Admission to the New York Bar
- Strong writing, analytical, and research abilities
- Excellent communication skills
Location & details#
This role is located in Rye Brook, New York. It follows a hybrid work model. The salary range for this position is $135,000 to $175,000 per year. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401k plan with employer match.
