About the role#
As a Video Editor Intern, you will work on live client campaigns for paid media, organic social, and digital channels. This role involves taking raw footage and general direction to create polished video assets. You will collaborate directly with senior editors, designers, and account teams, receiving feedback to refine your cuts. This position requires the ability to work efficiently across multiple revision rounds while maintaining high quality standards. You will also be expected to integrate AI tools into your workflow to assist with footage generation, audio, assembly, and versioning.
What you'll do#
- Edit video assets from raw footage through polished cuts.
- Support pacing, sequencing, and storytelling structure under the guidance of senior team members.
- Create multiple versions of assets, including different aspect ratios, lengths, and captions.
- Add text overlays, subtitles, and light motion elements.
- Incorporate feedback from internal stakeholders efficiently across multiple revision rounds.
- Organize and manage project files, footage, and assets within team workflows.
- Assist senior editors with sourcing sound effects, stock footage, and project setup.
What you'll need#
- A reel or website demonstrating edited video work, whether from school, personal projects, or professional experience.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Basic understanding of video formats and platform-specific specifications.
- Demonstrated interest in storytelling and visual design fundamentals.
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a film, media, or related program.
- Ability to iterate quickly based on feedback and meet deadlines.
