About the role#
Join our research team for an internship as an Investment Analyst. You will gain hands-on experience in global investment management by developing in-depth knowledge of specific industries and listed companies. This role focuses on long-term, fundamental research to help identify investment opportunities for our clients.
What you'll do#
- Conduct independent research on sectors and specific companies.
- Review company strategies and analyze future challenges and opportunities.
- Build detailed multi-year financial forecasts and maintain financial models.
- Examine risks and opportunities related to environmental, social, and governance issues.
- Participate in Investment Management team meetings.
- Formulate a rigorous investment recommendation, including a strategic argument.
- Present your findings to the investment team and defend your choices during a peer Q&A session.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an MBA or M.Sc. program in finance or a related field.
- Excellent academic results.
- Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and sound judgment.
- Ability to analyze large amounts of information independently.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong work ethic and self-motivation.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Training or professional experience in science, information technology, or telecommunications is an asset.

- Term: January to May 2027.
- Location: Montreal, Quebec.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (office work 3 days per week).
- Employment: Full-time, paid internship.
