About the role#
Join the research team at LetkoBrosseau as an Investment Analyst. This internship is designed for MBA or M.Sc. students interested in financial markets and long-term investment strategies. You will contribute to the firm's growth by conducting fundamental research and participating in team-wide investment decisions.
What you'll do#
- Conduct in-depth independent research on specific sectors and companies.
- Review company strategies, examine business plans, and analyze future challenges.
- Build and maintain detailed multi-year financial forecasts and valuation models.
- Examine risks and opportunities related to environmental, social, and governance issues.
- Participate in Investment Management team meetings.
- Formulate a rigorous investment recommendation, present your strategic argument to the team, and defend your analysis during a Q&A session.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an MBA or M.Sc. program in finance or a related field.
- Excellent academic results.
- Strong curiosity, self-motivation, and an independent, entrepreneurial mindset.
- High level of judgment and the ability to analyze large amounts of data critically.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong work ethic, discipline, and consistency.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Training or professional experience in science, information technology, or telecommunications is an asset.
- Multilingualism (French/English or other languages) is an asset.

- Term: Winter 2027 (January to May).
- Location: Montreal, Quebec.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (office work 3 days per week).
- Employment: Full-time internship.
