About the role#
Join the research team at LetkoBrosseau for a Winter 2027 internship. You will work with experienced investment professionals to develop in-depth knowledge of industries and listed companies. This role focuses on long-term, fundamental research to identify appropriate investments for our clients. You will contribute to team-wide investment decisions and gain exposure to global industry trends.
What you'll do#
- Conduct independent research on specific sectors and companies.
- Review company strategies, examine business plans, and analyze future challenges and opportunities.
- Create detailed multi-year financial forecasts and maintain up-to-date financial models.
- Evaluate environmental, social, and governance risks and opportunities.
- Participate in Investment Management team meetings.
- Formulate a rigorous investment recommendation, develop a strategic argument, and present your findings orally to the investment team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an MBA or M.Sc. program in finance or a related field.
- Excellent academic results.
- Strong curiosity and a desire to learn.
- Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and independent mindset.
- High level of judgment and analytical ability.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to excel as part of a team.
- Training or professional experience in science, information technology, or telecommunications is considered an asset.

- Location: Montreal, Quebec.
- Term: January to May 2027.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (3 days per week in the office).
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
