About the role#
The Business Applications Internship is a full-time, 12-week program running from May through August 2027. You will gain hands-on professional experience by contributing to projects that impact the business. The program concludes with a presentation to the senior leadership team regarding your project outcomes and experience. You will also gain exposure to the organization and its operations through mentorship, training, and shadowing.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to projects that will be implemented within the organization.
- Collaborate with leaders and team members across departments.
- Work in the support queue and assist with project testing.
- Develop a business case for your assignment, including business value, resources, and key milestones.
- Work with your manager on weekly updates against milestones.
- Develop a rollout plan with IT and business users.
- Reconcile project success against the original business case.
- Participate in professional development, networking, and team training.
- Engage with communities and take on small projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university program.
- At least 2 years completed toward a bachelor degree in MIS or a related field.
- Strong communication, problem solving, and collaboration skills.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to a mission-driven organization.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the 12-week program.
