About the role#
Labcorp is seeking a Lab Intern to join our team in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will gain hands-on experience through an 11-week program running from June 1st through August 13th, 2027. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.
What you'll do#
- Shadow laboratory professionals to learn diagnostic workflows, instrumentation, and department operations.
- Assist with non-testing tasks including specimen organization, inventory management, and workspace preparation.
- Participate in approved mock testing, demonstrations, and basic laboratory techniques under supervision.
- Support approved laboratory projects.
- Follow all safety and compliance standard operating procedures.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program for Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to follow laboratory procedures.
- Eagerness to learn new scientific concepts and laboratory skills.
- Ability to work independently under general supervision.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Professionalism, including punctuality and appropriate conduct.
- Interest in the diagnostics industry and laboratory science.
