About the role#
As a Systems Engineering Intern, you will work on the development and evaluation of complex system designs and architectures. You will analyze system requirements from users and end systems, create concept of operations, and build implementation plans. This position is based on-site in Salt Lake City, Utah.
What you'll do#
- Perform operational analysis and design.
- Develop test plans, procedures, and cases.
- Conduct tests and document your findings.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software using scripting and various tools.
- Present design activity plans and status updates to internal and external customers.
What you'll need#
- You must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Aviation, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Coursework or experience in systems architecture, systems analysis and design, or project management.
- Exposure to system performance modeling and integration.
- Experience or coursework in model-based systems engineering.
- Familiarity with Rhapsody.
Location & details#
- Location: Salt Lake City, Utah.
- Schedule: 9/80 schedule (80 hours over 9 days, with every other Friday off).
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
