About the role#
This is a 16 month co-op position based in Waterdown, Ontario. You will work directly with our Supply Chain and Procurement teams to support organizational performance and growth.
What you'll do#
- Lead process optimization projects focused on efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain Leadership team to track and maintain performance metrics.
- Assist the Supply Chain Business Analyst with data mining and reporting tasks.
- Support Bids and Proposal pursuits, site audits, and Supplier Quarterly Business Reviews.
- Manage a portfolio of suppliers to ensure the team hits goals for on-time delivery, quality, Net Working Capital, and Purchase Price Variance.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a College or University program in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, specifically with pivot tables, macros, and vlookup tools.
- Strong data analysis, planning, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities for both team and presentation settings.
- A results-oriented approach to problem solving and the ability to work independently.
