About the role#
This is a 16-month co-op term starting in May 2026. You will join the Reliability and Safety Engineering team to ensure our products remain safe and reliable for customers. You will also support the Integrated Logistics Support team on various initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Analyze data to quantify the reliability of fielded products and lower-level parts.
- Improve and automate data processes.
- Help develop predictive maintenance policies using telemetry data.
- Influence product reliability during the design phase.
- Create written reports and presentations to communicate your findings.
- Assist with product safety analyses, including fault tree analysis.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor or Advanced degree program in Engineering or Science.
- Ability to commit to a 16-month co-op term starting May 2026.
- Current enrollment and good standing in a university co-op program.
- Ability to obtain Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) clearance.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to extract data from various sources.
- Strong attention to detail and a curiosity for how systems function and fail.
- Concise and factual communication skills.
- Confidence to ask questions and collaborate with others.
- Background in programming, probability, and statistics is an asset.
