About the role#
As a Software Engineering Intern, you will work on the development of embedded software for tactical radio equipment. You will be part of the engineering team in Salt Lake City, contributing to the full software development life cycle. This is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Apply computer science and mathematical principles to software development.
- Work with cross-functional teams to design and evaluate interfaces between hardware and software.
- Analyze system requirements and operational performance.
- Write software test procedures, programs, and technical documentation.
- Use modeling tools to conduct tests and evaluate experimental data.
- Participate in peer reviews and fix software defects.
- Use languages such as C++, C#, C, Java, Python, and SQL on platforms including Windows, Linux, and embedded operating systems like VxWorks or QNX.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Wireless Engineering, Information Security, Mathematics, or Digital Arts and Sciences.

- Location: Salt Lake City, Utah.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: 9/80 schedule, which includes every other Friday off.
