About the role#
The Test Engineering Electrical team designs and validates functional and system-level test equipment. This includes test boxes, circuit card assemblies, and cables used in our factory and at contract manufacturing sites. You will work with design engineering and cross-functional teams to define test requirements and ensure testability throughout the product lifecycle.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and support functional and system-level test boxes and wiring harnesses.
- Define test requirements, including schematics, PCB layouts, and test interface wiring for UUT designs.
- Follow departmental processes for design reviews, configuration management, and test equipment qualification.
- Design, develop, and manage Boundary Scan tests and pass-thru assembly tests.
- Participate in technical reviews and provide feedback on designs created by other engineers.
- Engage in continuous improvement to enhance test automation and architecture.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in the 3rd year of a university program for Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Mechatronics.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with development lifecycle methodologies, specifically Git Flow.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Motivation to learn new technologies quickly.
- Understanding of production-ready solutions and quality practices like AS9100 and ISO9001.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
