About the role#
This internship supports purchasing and sourcing activities at L3Harris Technologies. You will assist with supplier pricing, material procurement, and order coordination. The role involves working with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
What you'll do#
- Procure material, equipment, supplies, and commodity products.
- Submit RFQs to suppliers to develop pricing lists.
- Negotiate price, delivery, and quality of products and services.
- Determine supplier selections.
- Track purchase orders through reports, open commitments, and receiving discrepancies.
- Resolve issues by interfacing with receiving and accounting departments.
- Confer with suppliers to determine factors that affect total cost of ownership.
- Interpret FAR, DFAR, and ITAR regulations regarding import and export controls.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Operations Management, or Business Administration.
- Alternatively, you may have completed your bachelor's degree within the last 12 months.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or other Lean experience is preferred.

- Schedule: 9/80 schedule, which includes every other Friday off.
