About the role#
As a Software Engineering Intern, you will apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical principles to develop software for tactical radio equipment. You will work with cross-functional teams to design system interfaces and evaluate operational performance.
What you'll do#
- Support all phases of the software development life cycle.
- Perform requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and testing of embedded software.
- Develop software test procedures, programs, and documentation.
- Use modeling tools to establish operating data and conduct experimental tests.
- Participate in peer reviews to identify, track, and repair defects.
- Use various programming languages including C++, C#, C, Java, Ruby, HTML5, XML, SQL, Perl, Python, Ajax, and Qt.
- Work across Windows, Linux, mobile platforms, and embedded real-time operating systems like VxWorks, QNX, and Integrity.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program at an accredited university.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Wireless Engineering, Information Security, Mathematics, Digital Arts & Sciences, or a related field.

- Schedule: 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.
