About the role#
As a Software Engineering Intern, you will work on software development for advanced tactical radio equipment. You will collaborate with engineering teams to design and test systems that integrate hardware and software components.
What you'll do#
- Apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical principles to software development.
- Develop and evaluate interfaces between hardware and software.
- Define operational performance requirements and system design.
- Participate in the full software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, integration, and testing.
- Write software test procedures, programs, and technical documentation.
- Use modeling tools to establish operating data and conduct experimental tests.
- Take part in peer reviews to improve code quality.
- Identify, track, and repair software defects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program at an accredited university.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Wireless Engineering, Information Security, Mathematics, Digital Arts & Sciences, or a related field.
