About the role#
We are looking for an Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team in Londonderry. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position. You will work on technical design and analysis tasks to help our engineering teams meet project goals.
What you'll do#
- Define design approaches and parameters for new projects.
- Analyze systems to check if designs are feasible within budget and time limits.
- Use modeling tools and lab equipment to run tests and gather data.
- Evaluate experimental results to guide design decisions.
- Choose components and equipment based on reliability and technical specs.
- Run simulations and present your findings to peer engineers.
- Write scripts to manage synthesis and build tools.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
- Understanding of circuit analysis and operational concepts.
- Familiarity with LINUX and Windows computing environments.
- Experience or knowledge in areas such as VHDL, RF, FPGA, DSP, MATLAB, or Analog systems.
- Experience with software tools like Code V, Zemax, FRED, or Python is helpful.
