About the role#
As an Electrical Engineer Intern, you will design and develop systems for the integration of electronic equipment on military and commercial aircraft, as well as ground stations. You will gain experience across a variety of aircraft platforms and systems.
What you'll do#
- Create system wiring diagrams, circuit breaker panels, and control panels using CAD tools.
- Research and prepare engineering drawings.
- Coordinate design activities with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production teams to meet requirements at a minimum cost.
- Develop Avionics Systems, RF, LAN, Data Processing, and Power Distribution Systems.
- Perform Electrical Loads analysis and develop load shedding schemes.
- Support the testing and integration of systems on aircraft.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field at an accredited university.
- Skills or knowledge of CAD and PLM software, specifically NX and Teamcenter.
- Familiarity with Siemens Capital software.

- Location: Clifton, New Jersey.
- Schedule: 9/80 schedule, which includes working 80 hours over 9 days with every other Friday off.
- Status: Full-time, paid internship.
