About the role#
As an Electrical Engineer Intern, you will learn to design and develop electrical systems for military and commercial aircraft and ground stations. You will work on various tasks and systems, including avionics, RF, LAN, data processing, and power distribution. This position is full-time and based on-site in Clifton, New Jersey.
What you'll do#
- Create system wiring diagrams, circuit breaker panels, and control panels using CAD tools.
- Research and prepare engineering drawings.
- Coordinate design activities with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production teams to ensure designs meet requirements at minimum cost.
- Perform electrical loads analysis and develop load shedding schemes.
- Support the testing and integration of systems on aircraft platforms.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field at an accredited university.
- Familiarity with CAD and PLM software, specifically NX and Teamcenter.
- Knowledge of Siemens Capital software.

- Location: Clifton, New Jersey.
- Schedule: 9/80 schedule, which includes 80 hours worked over 9 days with every other Friday off.
- Compensation: $25.50 to $48.00 per hour.
- Status: Paid internship.
