About the role#
As an Electrical Engineer Intern, you will work on the design and development of electrical systems for military and commercial aircraft and ground stations. You will gain experience across various aircraft platforms and systems, including Avionics, RF, LAN, Data Processing, and Power Distribution.
What you'll do#
- Create system wiring diagrams, circuit breaker panels, and control panels using CAD software.
- Research and prepare engineering drawings.
- Coordinate design activities with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production teams to meet project requirements.
- Develop electrical loads analysis and load shedding schemes.
- Support the testing and integration of systems directly on aircraft.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor, Master, or PhD program in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field at an accredited university.
- Experience or knowledge of CAD and PLM software, specifically NX and Teamcenter.
- Familiarity with Siemens Capital software.
Location & details#
- Location: Clifton, New Jersey.
- Schedule: 9/80 work schedule, totaling 80 hours over 9 days with every other Friday off.
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
