About the role#
The Kroger Summer Internship Program is a 12-week immersive experience designed to provide students with hands-on learning, exposure to senior leadership, and professional development. Interns will lead projects and work alongside industry professionals to refine their skills in a retail environment.
What you'll do#
- Assist retail and digital marketing managers with the development, execution, and measurement of business campaigns.
- Conduct comprehensive data collection and research, covering all phases of planning, gathering, analysis, and reporting.
- Research products, competitors, services, and internal processes to meet informational needs.
- Compile, organize, and summarize data findings to present conclusions to team members.
- Provide support materials to stores and divisions as requested.
- Create timely reports and documentation in response to business inquiries.
- Communicate project status updates and potential issues to team members.
- Participate in team meetings and provide feedback.
- Complete a cumulative project summarizing internship accomplishments to present to the leadership team.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university, preferably in Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications.
- Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Must possess work authorization that does not require sponsorship for employment in the United States.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and in groups.
- High level of motivation, initiative, and attention to detail.
- Ability to preserve the confidentiality of information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to change as a positive challenge.
- Desired: Experience with Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics, background in data analysis, and coursework or practical experience in digital marketing.
