Summer 2026 Human Resources Intern- Retail

About the role#

The Summer 2026 Human Resources Internship is a 12-week immersive program designed to provide students with hands-on experience and professional exposure. Interns will work alongside industry leaders to lead projects, refine professional skills, and contribute to business operations. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position located in Hutchinson, Kansas.

What you'll do#

• Assist retail and digital marketing managers with the development, execution, and measurement of campaigns.
• Conduct comprehensive data collection and research, including planning, gathering, analyzing, and reporting findings.
• Research products, competitors, services, and internal processes to meet informational needs.
• Compile and organize data, summarize findings, and present conclusions to team members.
• Create reports and documentation in response to inquiries and provide support materials to stores and divisions.
• Communicate project status updates and participate in team meetings.
• Complete a cumulative project summarizing internship accomplishments to present to the leadership team.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or Human Resources, with a preferred GPA of 3.0.
• Must have work authorization that does not require sponsorship now or in the future.
• Strong initiative and the ability to work both independently and within a group.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information effectively.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change.
• Desired: Experience with data analysis, digital marketing coursework, Google Analytics, or Adobe Analytics.
