Summer 2026 Human Resources Intern- Retail

About the role#

The Kroger Summer Internship Program is a 12-week immersive experience designed to help students grow their professional skills through focused assignments. Interns will lead projects, work alongside industry leaders, and collaborate with other students while gaining exposure to senior management.

What you'll do#

• Assist retail and digital marketing managers with the development, execution, and measurement of business campaigns.
• Conduct data collection and research, covering all phases from planning and gathering to analyzing and reporting findings.
• Compile and organize data to summarize results and present conclusions to team members.
• Provide support materials to stores and divisions as requested.
• Create reports and documentation in response to inquiries in a timely manner.

What you'll need#

• Must be actively pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or Human Resources, with a preferred GPA of 3.0.
• Must have valid work authorization in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
• Highly motivated with the ability to take initiative on independent work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information to various levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
